IIT-Madras alumni from Kerala tops the UPSC with a rank of 21

Candidates from Kerala who registered performed admirably. 25 candidates from the state passed the exam, three of whom were in the top 100, according to a list provided by the Kerala State Civil Services Academy. However, according to media reports, nine Keralites made it into the top 100.

Changanassery native Dilip K. Kainikkara, who placed 21 overall in India, won the state competition. Alfred O V, a Kannur local, was ranked 57th, and Akhil V Menon, an Irinjalakuda resident, was ranked 66th. Thiruvananthapuram resident Kiran P. B. received the 100th position.

Roja S Rajan (108), C B Rex (111), Sam Varghese (134), Arjun Unnikrishnan (145), P K Siddharth Ramkumar (189), and Sreekumar Ravindrakumar are other top-ranked candidates from Kerala (192). “After working for three years in business, I felt somewhat cut off from the industry. Dilip told TNIE, “I wanted to work at the grassroots level and do something for our people.

Alfred said that effort was the key to success. If he works hard enough, even someone who did not attend a top-tier university or who is not an IIT-IIM material can pass the test, according to Alfred.

Dilip left his well-paying corporate position.

Dilip P. Kainikkara could have kept working at his well-paying business position, but he decided to join the civil service instead because he wanted to accomplish something meaningful.
