This opportunity to become an officer in the army is very special for young men and women who are getting ready to serve the country through the activities of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) right from their youth. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website of the Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in, to become a lieutenant in the Army through Short Service Commission.

Applications are invited from unmarried men and unmarried women for the grant of the Short Service Commission (SSC) on behalf of the Indian Army. The application process for NCC Quota Recruitment is going on. Candidates who want to become a direct officer in the army from the NCC quota have to submit their application form before the last date which is 15 February.
Indian Army NCC Recruitment Vacancy Details
This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 55 vacancies out of which 50 vacancies are for NCC Quota Men and five vacancies are for NCC Women. Indian Army NCC Recruitment Age Limit Candidate age should be between 19 Years to 25 Years as on July 1, 2023.

Indian Army Indian Army NCC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a degree or its equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate taking into account the marks of all years. Final-year students are also eligible to apply as long as they have secured at least a 50% overall grade point average in the first two/three/four years of their respective degree program. Candidates should also have at least two/three years of service experience in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC.
