NEET SS Counseling 2022: The registration process for the second round of NEET SS counseling 2022 is underway. Candidates can complete the process of choice filling in NEET SS 2022 counseling till January 2, 2023. For this, candidates can complete the process of choice filling by logging on to the official website – mcc.nic.in tomorrow i.e. January 2, 2023, till 11:55 pm. Candidates will also be able to lock the choice in NEET SS 2022 counseling tomorrow from 4 pm to 11:55 pm. Medical colleges will start the seat allotment process from January 3 to January 4, 2023, after the candidates have locked their choices.
The result of the second round will be declared on January 5, 2023. Recently, MCC declared the NEET SS counseling 2022 first-round final seat allotment result on December 9, 2022. NEET SS round one allotment list consists of candidates’ rank, qualifying exam, allotted institute, course, etc. Candidates will be able to report at the allotted colleges from 06 January to 12 January.
Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has added additional DM and MCh seats in the round-2 seat matrix of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS) counseling. To prevent the wastage of super specialty seats, the counseling committee has added more seats in the DM and MCH programs of Lok Nayak Hospital attached to Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC).
The official notification of MCC reads that the Medical Counseling Committee has received information from the following institutes regarding new seats before the commencement of Round 1 of SS Counseling 2022, which could not be contributed by the colleges. Therefore, the competent authority has decided to include DM/ MCH seats in the second round in the seat matrix of Round 2 of SS Counseling 2022 to prevent the wastage of super specialty seats.
