Enrollment of 50 new children done by each teacher, ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ picks up in UP

 

All the officials have been ordered to check the out-of-school children in every area of the state and enroll them in the nearest government primary or upper primary school. Director General (School Education) Vijay Kiran Anand has ordered teachers to work hard to emulate teachers working in private schools and adopt the way of teaching.

“The government primary and upper primary schools of UP have opened from July 03 after the summer vacations. Now each teacher of more than 1.5 lakh schools in the state has been given a target to enroll 50 new children in this session.

He said that every officer has been ordered to identify out-of-school children in each development block of the state and ensure their enrollment in the nearest government primary or upper primary school. Director General (School Education) Vijay Kiran Anand directed the teachers to They have also been instructed to work hard to adopt the professionalism and teaching style of teachers working in private schools.

“In a review meeting of Divisional Assistant Directors of Education (Basic) and District Basic Education Officers (BSAs), the Director General asked the officers to make the session 2023-24 an ‘ideal session’. Instructions have been given to ensure 100% enrollment of dropout students to ensure that their studies continue.
