Today, the Union Public Service Commission published the final Civil Services 2021 results and top performers list on upsc.gov.in. With an All India Rank (AIR) of 1, Shruti Sharma is ranked first in the UPSC Civil Services 2021. Shruti Sharma, a native of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, rose to the top of the famous UPSC Exams and established herself among the lengthy list of female IAS officials in the nation.

She made history by claiming three of the top five slots on the UPSC toppers 2021 list, along with Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singla. At the University of Delhi, where she also studied political science and international relations, Agarwal earned a degree in Economics with honors. Singla earned a BTech in computer science and chose sociology as one of her electives.

According to sources, Shruti Sharma attended Jawaharlal Nehru University for her master’s degree after graduating from St. Stephen’s College of Delhi University. Later, she left JNU and enrolled in the Delhi School of Economics at Delhi University to complete her graduate studies. While finishing her degree, Shruti had always desired to join the Indian Administrative Services (IAS).

History major Shruti Sharma devoted a lot of time to her preparation for the UPSC CSE Exams. She is from the Uttar Pradesh town of Bijnor. After completing her education at Delhi University’s St. Stephen’s College, she started studying for the UPSC IAS Exams, and thanks to her dedication and hard work, she was able to place first overall in the country for the 2021 batch of Civil Services officers.

For the upcoming class of IAS officers, IFS officials, and other Central Government positions, the UPSC has recommended 685 candidates. Out of 685 applications, Shruti came in the first place and received the AIR Rank 1. According to the UPSC, the Commission has recommended the appointment of 685 competent candidates—508 males and 177 women—to various central services.

Shruti Sharma received her degree from Delhi University’s St. Stephens College. She subsequently enrolled at JNU to complete her post-graduate studies.
