Shubham Kumar, the winner of UPSC CSE 2020, is aware of the Bihar boy’s path to success.

UPSC CSE 2020 Shubham, the son of Devanad Singh and Punam Devi of Kumhari village in Kadwa, one of Bihar’s worst-affected blocks by the floods, began his elementary education there before being accepted to Vidya Vihar Residential School in Parora, where he completed his tenth grade in 2012.

Shubham Kumar, a young man from Katihar, excelled in the highly anticipated 2020 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam, making his district and state proud. Subham, who holds a B.Tech in civil engineering from IIT Bombay, took the test three times. He achieved a rank of 268 in 2019.

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, praised UPSC CSE 2020 Shubham Kumar on his accomplishments and stated he had made the entire state of Bihar proud, not just his home area. Amir Subhani, a Siwan local and the assistant chief secretary of the Bihar government, had won the exam in 1987.

Tarkishore Prasad, the deputy chief minister who is from Katihar, spoke with Shubham’s parents and expressed his desire to attend the ceremony that will be held in Shubham’s village of Kumhari in his honor.

In a tweet, Topper Shubham expressed gratitude to all of his supporters and the people for their good wishes.

Later, he relocated to Jharkhand’s Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro, where he completed his XII in 2014. He received a 219th-rank IIT graduation, was admitted to IIT Bombay, and graduated with honors from the B.Tech program.

In the UPSC test, he selected anthropology as his elective subject.

Shubham’s father, who works for the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, said, “His goal was to clear IAS from the very beginning and he never gave up. Even after the 29th rank, he continued to prepare and today he made all of us proud. I got the news from my son who called me from Delhi to inform me about the result.
